What Is A Food & Beverage Minimum, And What Does It Include?This price reflects the base amount that needs to be spent in food & beverage during your event time. Cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, savory or sweet stations, dinner, wine service with dinner, and an open bar all contribute to this minimum. This minimum excludes sales tax, 4% event fee and staff gratuity
What Other Charges May I Expect?11.75% Tax - Chicago City Venue tax is standard and subject to change based on local ordinance. 4% service fee - 4% of the food and beverage subtotal goes directly to the event planning team working behind the scenes to organize your event and manage service staff day-of. Gratuity - As a host, you determine the percentage of gratuity you would like the service team (bartenders, bussers, and servers) to receive. The suggested gratuity is 18-25% of the food & beverage spend. This can be predetermined or selected post-service
How Do I Secure My Event Date?In order to confirm a date we require a signed contract to include the terms of agreement section. The initial deposit is 25% of the food & beverage minimum. 5 business days prior to the wedding, we require the final event order to be approved and signed along with final guest count
When Do I Need To Have My Menus Selected?2 weeks prior to your event: Full menu selections are complete. 5 days prior to your event: Final entree counts have been shared with your planner. 3 days prior to your event: Seating chart with entree selections have been shared with your planner. Groups of 75 or fewer guests may utilize tableside entree selection
When May Vendor Drop-offs Happen?Setups & deliveries must be predetermined and scheduled with your RPM Events planner. All vendors participating in your function must be connected with your RPM planner to complete the required vendor code of conduct for the building
What Table Arrangements Are Available To Me?Floor plans are predetermined based on guest count and preference. We have both round tables and rectangle tables, which are dressed in white or black house linens. Our rounds accommodate 10 guests at a comfortable maximum and 11 guests at a physical maximum, pending your tablescape. Our rectangle tables can be configured together to make long tables or square tables with availability based on group size
