Wildfire is bringing the heat for National Margarita Day (February 22) with the recipe for its Sweet Heat ‘Rita. The steak-and-chops stalwart’s spin on a margarita includes jalapeño-infused tequila topped with some bubbles, courtesy of Giuliana Prosecco. Sip it from a martini glass rimmed with chili-lime tajín seasoning for a sparkling, salty-sweet treat!

Sweet Heat ‘Rita

A salty-sweet spin on a fave

Yield: 1 cocktail


2 oz. Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila
1 oz. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. Tres Agaves Nectar
¾ oz. Giuliana Prosecco
Tajín seasoning (for glass rim)
Lime wedge, skewered, for garnish
Martini glass, chilled


1. Place a scoop of ice in a cocktail shaker. Add tequila, lime juice and agave nectar and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
2. Dip rim of chilled martini glass into tajín seasoning to taste.
3. Strain mix into prepared glass and top with prosecco.
4. Garnish with skewered lime wedge.
