Yield: 1 pizza
Ingredients:
Store bought pizza dough or 2 cups homemade pizza dough
¼ cup your favorite pizza sauce
⅓ cup fresh mozzarella cheese
4 tsp. olive oil
¼ tsp. Maldon Salt
10 basil leaves
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¾ tsp. semolina flour
Method:
1. Pre-heat to 400-500°F.
2. Put your all purpose flour on a clean, flat surface then place the pizza dough on the flour. Make sure to cover all sides of the pizza dough in the flour.
3. Starting from the center of the dough portion, flatten and shape the dough gently until you have a circle.
4. Sprinkle the semolina flour on a baking tray to prevent pizza from sticking to the pan.
5. Place the dough on the pan, then gently spread your favorite pizza sauce over the dough.
6. Tear small chunks of fresh mozzarella and spread evenly over the pizza.
7. Brush the outside pizza crust with olive oil.
8. Bake in the preheated 450-500°F for 6-8 minutes.
9. Remove pizza from the oven, season with Maldon Sea Salt, and top with fresh basil leaves.
